Make A Rap Song Like A Professional Rapper

To be able to play the Harmonica correctly in the cross harp or second position style you need to understand that to be able to hit a hole, and be able to get a sound out of that hole only, is very important. On the 3 hole of C Harmonica you can get 5 different notes and this is so important in playing Country Music and Blues. To be able to get each note specifically will set you apart from lots of other players and will help so much in playing pretty Country Music melodies.

5 Reasons Why You Should Buy Your Tickets From a Reputable Ticket Seller

So many definitive rockabilly recordings came out on the Sun Records label that the label has come to be synonymous with rockabilly. Although the label didn't release rockabilly exclusively--lots of blues and country recordings were released on Sun too--it's those pioneering rockabilly recordings that put the label on the map. Rockabilly musicians the world over have been trying to duplicate that distinctive "Sun sound" ever since Elvis' "That's All Right" changed the course of pop music forever. While other labels turned out records that you could say were equally as great as the Sun releases, no one has ever really been able to nail that original Sun sound.

Million Dollar Quartet: Rockabilly on Broadway

Rockabilly performer and former Elvis impersonator, Shawn Barker has been taking his Johnny Cash tribute show called "The Man in Black" on the road to resounding success. Barker performs songs that span the entirety of Cash's career--from the Sun recordings to the last work Cash did with Rick Rubin--but his on-stage persona is that of a young Cash, say about early 1960s.

And the state of Ohio takes a collective sigh of relief.

After some back and forth, some contention from her lawyers and a judge swap, it has been officially determined that Casey Anthony must return to Orlando within the next two weeks to begin serving her year's probation for check fraud.

Guess what Casey? Judge Belvin Perry doesn't care if you're worried for your safety. He's dismissed your legal teams attempts to keep you a free bird, saying that the judge before him put out an order and he is going to stick with it. Casey MUST report to an Orange County probation officer no later than Aug. 26 at noon or she risks being sent right back to jail.

Watch: The ‘Footloose’ Remake Releases A Movie Trailer

Last month we got our first look at promo photos from the upcoming remake film Footloose. As you may recall, this new version of Footloose is based on the film of the same name from 1984 which starred Kevin Bacon … this new version, stars Kenny Wormald. While I’m not a huge fan of remakes, [...]

We are just days away from the release of Beyoncé‘s new album 4 and today we get to check out a couple of fancy promo album photos that will be included in the album artwork booklet. Despite the fact that B has not been getting too much positive buzz about her new disc, she has been actively promoting its release. Check out these new Beyoncé promo photos below and see what’s in store should YOU decide to buy a copy of her new CD.

I have been able to preview Beyoncé‘s new album and I’m sad to say that I am totally underwhelmed. I don’t hear any singles on the disc. While Beyoncé sings amazing ballads, her new album 4 is nothing but ballads. Still, I’m certain that her fans will support the album’s release. As for these promo photos, the Queen B looks amazing as always. I’m hopeful that the bonus tracks on the deluxe version of 4 will be fantastic … because if not, I may have to pass on picking up this album altogether :/

The Shivers: Give Me More!

I heard Miss Alana Stewart's song "perfervid" one afternoon. You know the routine- I get a lot of music thrown at me so I clicked play and got back on with my work not thinking twice. As soon as the track started though Stewart's voice was so successfully piercing that I paused just to focus on her range, the unavoidable longing in her addictive voice was hard to ignore, and before I knew it one track had turned into five, and without realizing it- I was hooked.

‘Jackass’ Star Ryan Dunn Dies In Car Crash!

What a tragedy, ‘Jackass’ star Ryan Dun was killed in a car crash early this morning. He was with an unidentified passenger who also died. According to Gossip Cop the crash involving the stuntman happened around 3 am in Pennsylvania. The site further states that police have revealed the Dunn’s Porsche was in flames when they arrived on the scene. A couple of hours before the accident the 34 year old Tweeted a picture of himself at a bar with some friends but that doesn’t necessarily mean that alcohol was involved so we will just have to wait until more info is given out before we will know exactly what happened. Ryan was best known for the stunts he pulled on not only the MTV show ‘Jackass’ but the spin-off series ‘Viva La Bam’ starring his pal Bam Margera. Currently he was co-hosting the G4 show ‘Proving Ground’ with Jessica Chobot. The show was right up Dunn’s alley doing what he loved to do experiment with crazy out there stunts. ‘Proving Ground’ debuted last week and although I personally didn’t watch it I have some friends who checked it out and said it was pretty freaking good. I have to [...]

Bad business you've gotten yourself into, dude!

Rick Springfield was formally charged with two counts of DUI this morning stemming from his arrest in Malibu last May. Because they are just misdemeanor charges, Rick faces a maximum of 6 months in jail and a $1,000 fine. If they were felony charges, FORGET ABOUT IT!

Rick also got off doubly easy as the police department decided not to press charges for Rick's outlandish remarks to the arresting officers. As we recall, he muttered something about have them "f*cking killed." However, an L.A. County Sheriff's Dept. spokesperson explained officials did not take the threat seriously, saying:

"It is rare when a drunk doesn’t say something outlandish to police when they’re arrested."

Truth!

Well, you brought this on to yourself Rick. Hopefully, you've learned your lesson!

Top Tips to Learn to Play the Guitar

Parachute is a pretty young pop rock band, as well as its members. After graduating from college in 2008, some enthusiastic dreamers formed the band that was first called Sparky's Flaw until one of the biggest skincare brand - Nivea - asked the change of the name. And so, Sparky's Flaw became Parachute, a "blue-eyed soul, adult pop, Maroon 5-style faux-funk: it's the Goldilocks of pop-rock, neither too hot nor too cold, but just right" as Fly Magazine depicted it, that started a massive attack for popularity and fame.

Beyoncé Releases A Promo Photo For Her New Song

All week long we’ve been seeing photos from the set of the music video for Beyoncé‘s new song (HERE and HERE) and yesterday we got to hear a snippet of the track … but today we get to check out a fierce new promo photo for the song. It’s still not entirely clear what the [...]

Last night, David and I attended a performance of the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion at the Music Center in downtown LA and I am happy to report that the show was utterly and powerfully incredible. I’ve only heard the best things about Alvin Ailey shows and I was so pleased to learn that everything I heard turned out to be true. In celebration of the 50th anniversary of Ailey‘s masterpiece Revelations, that particular piece was performed last night … along with new and older pieces. It was truly a night to remember.

Our program last night featured the Ailey performance pieces Anointed (2010), The Evolution of a Secured Feminine (2007), The Hunt (2001) and Revelations (1960). We were also shown a film titled Celebrating Revelations at 50 which featured interview footage of Alvin Ailey and performance footage of Revelations over the past 50 years. It never occurred to me that a dance program could be so moving but I was literally swept away by the majesty performed on stage last night. Dance is just magic … it can just wash away everything else around you and completely overtake your mind, soul and body. I don’t know how I managed to stay in my seat the entire time but by the time the audience stood up for the standing ovation at the end of the performance, I was DYING to jump up and dance around. David and I had the best time ever … it’s a date that I will remember for the rest of my life :)

Plans for tonight … an early showing of Scream 4 (can’t wait) and then a concert performance by Janet Jackson! It’ll be the first time I’ve ever seen her live so … I am excited!! Woot!! Happy Friday!! Happy Weekend.

Meagan Broussard Emerges as First Weinergate Woman!

Anthony Weiner will not resign after all—at least according to a statement the democrat made after admitting he sent racy photos to a number of women, including 26-year-old Meagan Broussard via Twitter. The multi-term representative first found himself in an awkward position about a week ago when a photo was sent from his Twitter account to a young woman in Seattle. The photo, which helped dub the kerfuffle “weinergate,” showed a man in his underwear, with a bulge in the crotch area. At first he played the “hacker” card that many celebs pull, claiming that an unknown individual targeted his account and sent an unapproved tweet. The strange twist came when he would not deny that the photo was of himself. This left many people wondering where a hacker would have gotten a picture of the Congressman in his underwear in the first place. Suddenly today, he held a press conference whereby he admitted that the entire debacle was no accident: “The picture was of me and I sent it…” He said the picture was sent jokingly, but that it wasn’t the first “inappropriate conversation” he has had over the Internet. In fact, he says that over the last three [...]

Obviously the MTV Movie Awards isn't your average awards show. I don't think I need to get into the list of reasons why, aside from bringing up my favorite nominations category: Best Jaw Dropping Moment. In addition to our categories setting us apart from the envelope-opening pack, the overall stage design for the show is always an edgy, eye-catching departure from the glitzy, golden themes in shows like the Oscars or Golden Globes.

MTV News' Josh Horowitz was lucky enough to get a sneak peek at the set design and man, is it a doozy. The Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City, California, has been transformed into a wild, jungle-ish fantasyland filled with psychedelic props like caves, butterflies and enough LED lights to make Times Square sizzle.

Executive Producer Mark Burnett told MTV News that the inspiration for the design is "a little bit of a 'Lord of the Rings,' our nod to that part of the movie industry. ... And our production designer, Roy, [this is] his nod to fantasy in the movies."

Burnett went on to say that given the popularity of fantastical blockbusters like "The Twilight Saga: Eclipse" and "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1," "I think there's been a lot of movies in the last few years that are very fantasy-driven," he said, adding that the visionary stylings of Tim Burton's were also sources of inspiration for the stage design.

There are, of course, a variety of ways to interpret the lushness of the design elements. "It could be 4 a.m., you've had too much to drink [and] it's the end of the party," Burnett playfully suggested.
