In this weekend's "Due Date," Robert Downey Jr. and Zach Galifianakis play a pair of road-tripping companions who don't so much go together like peanut butter and jelly or bread and butter as they do like chocolate chip mint ice cream and pickles.
This fact is on visible display in a new clip for the film, available below for your viewing pleasure. But first a little set-up: For hilarious reasons we won't get into here, Downey's architect/soon-to-be dad Peter Highman and Galifianakis' wannabe actor Ethan Tremblay are forced to road-trip from Atlanta to Los Angeles, Peter in time for the birth of his first child and Ethan for a meeting with an agent he hopes can land him a role on a certain hit TV show. As they get to know each other over a meal at Waffle House, certain things come to light. For one, they probably don't want to drink what Ethan's carrying around in that coffee can of his.
